Thank goodness...life goes on... a saying we've heard our whole lives right? Well.... I am here to tell you that it's true. Thank goodness, it's true! Within the last 8 months, I've had two daughters get married (with the works), a double mastectomy, Thanksgiving, Christmas, reconstructive breast surgery, and lost two major employees at work! I'm still here God. They haven't killed me yet. Through photos and stories I will do my best to catch up with everyone who seems to care : )

This week.. I rediscovered the famous American artist, Andrew Wyeth. I just love his work... windows are often featured. He used them to separate the real world from his world. He led a very troubled life : ( This painting is entitled, "Wind from the Sea".

Wow!!! This is going to be a really exciting year for me... actually for our whole family! Two weddings and a Family Reunion! This week we finish my husbands (Ralphie) putting green installation at the lake house... two weeks ago, we put our home in TX back on the market for the third time! And next week is Mary and Whitney's engagement party! Geeze!!!!
Well... some friends are working again...and some are not : ( Hang in there everyone.... According to Obama...all we have to do is go to the mailbox and pick up a check that the taxpayers are going to send us right? Sorry...but I am feeling like our ship is adrift... not the the Repubs were doing any better???? Is there NO ONE out there who is willing to do the job with a brain in their head???? Ron?, little Richard? Anyone?

Well, I seem to be getting a little bit better. I figured out how to:
1. Change fonts style and colors
2. Change to a new background
3. Add new buttons and blinker
AND…
4. Add pictures in my blog area:

All in all…. I am pretty happy with myself for being “self-taught” on this blog thingee. I still can’t figure out how to get rid of the green background I am typing on : (
